In 1972, Nuaire invented a technology called Positive Input Ventilation, or PIV, to cure tenanted homes blighted by condensation dampness. Today, it is a popular method of whole-house ventilation, and still the most effective cure for condensation dampness.

The PIV process involves drawing fresh air from outside into a fan located in the loft area. The air is filtered, tempered using the heat that naturally accumulates at the top of the house, and then gently pushed into the home causing positive pressurisation.  By continuously supplying fresh, filtered air through the home, the moisture-laden stale air is forced out through the natural leakage points.  As a result, the humidity is drastically reduced and the allergens are removed from the air creating a fresh and healthy indoor environment.

Quiet, unobtrusive and energy-efficient in their operation, Positive Input Ventilation systems can reduce the overall maintenance costs of a property by protecting the fabric and materials. This strategy is extremely cost effective and quick to install, hence its popularity.

Introducing Drimaster-Eco, the next generation of PIV.  It features patented technology making it the most energy-efficient PIV on the market.

  • Patented heater design uses 20% less energy than the competition.
  • Demand control sensors and switches save energy and improve air quality.
  • Larger filter areas so more effective for longer.
  • Circular ceiling diffuser for easier installation.
  • Hall control via diffuser so no need to enter the loft to change or maintain the unit.
  • It’s quick and simple to install in under one-hour. Commissioning can be carried out via the diffuser.
  • Full 7 year maintenance-free manufacturer’s warranty for peace of mind.

Will I Need Extract Fans?

In the majority of cases, there is no need for additional extract fans. We only recommend the use of extract fans when the air from the diffuser will need to travel under two doors before reaching a wet room, or when the wet room has no openable window.

Homes Without Lofts

The Flatmaster is a low-energy Positive Input Ventilation system (PIV), suitable for properties without loft space. It can also be used to ventilate basements, cellars and other areas that would benefit from a continuous supply of fresh, filtered air.

It Really Works - But Don't Just Take Our Word For It!

Drimaster-Eco is a tried and tested technology that does exactly what it says – it cures condensation dampness and improves the quality of air inside the home. Don’t just take our word for it. Here's a small snapshot of what our customers say about Drimaster-Eco.

Joseph Thompson, 65 from St Helens. [September 2017] "I’ve had problems with condensation and mould ever since I moved into my bungalow 35 years ago. I finally bought a unit from a reseller in March and it’s been running ever-since. It cured the condensation problem in two days! I’ve even bought a relative humidity tracker for each room and your machine has absolutely cured the problem. I’m not a man who parts with £400 easily but it’s the best money I’ve spent. The drimaster is brilliant. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s so much cheaper than redecorating! All the black mould spots are gone and for the first time, I’m breathing in fresh air in my bedroom!  I don’t have to redecorate and my laminate floors are flat for the first time!"

STULAR, Amazon customer: [February 2017] "Every morning we were wiping down windows, had black spot in our bathroom and around the bedroom windows. We were exacerbating the issue with bringing wet logs into the lounge for our log burner and drying washing in doors. We had little pots of crystals on window seals to absorb some of the moisture. Enough was enough! I initially found a review about this product from Which? on their web site and then started doing to my own research. I was very sceptical about this device and the reviews on other sites seemed too good to be true. However I was ready to try anything to stop the moisture in our bungalow. Ordered the DRI-ECO-HEAT, with switch. I fitted the device myself into the loft, which was surprisingly easy and one of my electrician friends took ten minutes from start to finish to wire up. We noticed an improvement after we woke the next morning and after two days of running, we had no condensation or black spot - it works! The air in our bungalow feels drier. Two weeks on and still no condensation, despite very damp and wet weather outside. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product if you have condensation or excessive moisture."
